What do you see?
It’s almost the new year.
Time to look within.
How will you change?
What parts will endure?
Is the past alive?
Is it dead?
Somewhere in between?
Is life short?
Sometimes seems that way.
Is life long?
Could be.
It’s all relative. We need to name things, somehow.
Of course.
Sometimes it’s beautiful.
Well, it’s always beautiful.
Look closely at someone you love.
Try to see into their soul.
Can you go there?
Will they let you?
If you’re lucky, yes.
It’s artificial, this threshold.
The difference between the 31st and the 1st.
But it is an opportunity.
To pause.
To see.
Is everything just as you would like it to be?
This is your choice.
Your chance.
Take it.
