Whether you call it a Witika, a Wendigo or some other transliterated variant, the image is ghastly. A creature who haunts the woods, nine feet tall, with long hair, green skin, six inch fangs and a cannibalistic appetite. Those who meet the monster do not survive or are driven insane. Some are infected with a burning desire to eat human flesh.
